Qi Gong Class: Wuji Hundun QiGong
“Qi” means subtle breath or vital energy. “Gong” means skill cultivated through steady practice. Pronounced “chee gong”, QiGong is adapted from traditional Chinese forms of movement for health and combat that does not put undue strain on ligaments, muscles, or joints.
Wuji Hundun QiGong is a series of sixteen movements plus opening and closing moves. Wuji means ‘infinite potential’. Hundun means ‘chaos’ or a disruption of stagnation. The moves are taught in a certain order for the sake of teaching, but they are intended to be practiced in a random order once learned, as one responds to the natural dynamics of the movements as they spontaneously emerge.
Discover how to coordinate your breath and use the elegant moves of Wuji Hundun to activate the qi, (vital energy) in your meridians and organ systems. This 800 year old internal practice is ideal for building a profound sense of calm while enhancing your stamina, balance, body awareness, and flexibility of mind and body.
